Please review the terms of our seasonal snow removal service agreement.

Tor Snow Removal

A Division of Tor Contracting Inc.

Season: November 1 – April 1

1. Service Agreement Overview

This Seasonal Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Tor Contracting Inc. ("Tor Snow Removal", "we", "us") and the customer ("you") for snow removal and ice control services at the property specified in your quote.

2. Service Period

Service is provided for the winter season from November 1 to April 1. Services outside this period may be arranged by separate agreement.

3. Snowfall Trigger

Service is automatically initiated when snowfall reaches the agreed-upon trigger level (default: 2 inches). Optional call-outs for snowfall below the trigger may be requested and are billed separately.

4. Package Terms

  • Economy: Pay-per-visit service billed monthly after each completed visit.
  • Gold: Ten (10) qualifying visits included. Additional visits billed at the extra-visit rate.
  • Platinum: Unlimited qualifying snow-removal visits during the contract period.
  • Elite: Unlimited qualifying visits plus salting/ice control after each qualifying visit. Priority service status.

5. Pricing and Measurements

Online pricing is based on the property areas and information provided by the customer. Final acceptance is subject to Tor Contracting reviewing the property, service area, site access, and measurements. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if actual conditions differ from those provided.

6. Payment Terms

  • Full payment may be required at the time of acceptance.
  • Monthly invoicing applies to Economy (pay-per-visit) customers.
  • Seasonal packages may be paid in full or per the agreed payment schedule.
  • All prices are in Canadian dollars. Ontario HST applies.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Move vehicles from the service area before snowfall where possible.
  • Inform Tor Snow Removal of any access restrictions, locked gates, pets, or obstacles.
  • Ensure adequate space for snow stacking on the property, or arrange for hauling.
  • Mark hidden obstacles ( sprinklers, rocks, etc.) that may become covered by snow.

8. Service Limitations

Tor Snow Removal is not liable for damage to improperly marked obstacles, underground sprinklers, landscaping, or items left in the service area. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather conditions, road closures, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Contract Changes & Upgrades

Any contract change, upgrade, or modification requested after your agreement has been signed — including plan upgrades, service-area changes, or other modifications — is subject to a $30 administrative fee, plus applicable HST, in addition to any difference in service pricing.

10. Cancellation

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Seasonal package cancellations are subject to the terms agreed upon at signing. Services already performed will be billed at the applicable rate.

11. Electronic Signature

By signing electronically, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement. Your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
