How to Get an Instant Quote

Our instant quote tool measures your property on a satellite map and gives you a real price in minutes — no phone tag, no waiting.

1

Enter your address

Start typing your home or business address and select your property from the dropdown. We'll confirm you're in our service area (Lisle, Everett, Glencairn and surrounding communities). If you're just outside our standard zone, you can still proceed — a small travel fee will be added to your quote.

2

Measure your areas

On the satellite map, draw outlines around the areas you want cleared — driveway and parking, walkways/sidewalks, and porch or entrance. The square footage is calculated automatically as you draw. You can also type in dimensions manually, or do both. You need at least one area drawn to continue.

3

Tell us about your property

Pick your surface type (paved, concrete, gravel, interlock, etc.) and driveway shape. Check any boxes that apply — steep grade, retaining walls, locked gates, narrow areas, vehicles normally parked in the service area. Add notes about hidden obstacles (sprinklers, rocks, drains) or special access instructions, then enter your name, email, and phone number. You can optionally upload a few site photos to help our team.

4

Choose your package

We'll show you four packages priced for your specific property: Economy (Pay-Per-Visit, in On-Demand or On-Call mode), Gold (10-Event Seasonal), Platinum (Seasonal), and Elite (Seasonal + Ice Control with a complimentary salt bin). For Economy and Gold you can also pick your snow clearing trigger — 2", 4", or 6" — the depth at which we automatically start clearing.

5

Confirm and sign

Review your order summary, then read through your full service agreement on screen. Check the boxes to accept the quoted price and the agreement terms, and sign your name electronically (type it or draw it). Finally, choose your payment option — pay in full by card or bank transfer, or request an invoice to be billed later — then submit. You'll get a confirmation email right away, and our team will review and confirm your service.

Tip: If your property is very large or unusual, the tool may flag it for a custom quote instead of instant pricing. Just complete your information and submit — we'll follow up with a tailored price. No payment is required at that stage.

How to Accept Your Quote

Once you receive your quote email, here's the step-by-step process to review, sign, and activate your snow removal service.

1

Open your quote link

You'll receive an email from Tor Contracting with a secure link to review your quote. Click it to open your personalized quote page. You can also find your quotes anytime in your Customer Portal under the Quotes section.

2

Review your quote details

The page shows your name, service address, and any note our team has added. Use the Print button at the top to save a copy for your records.

3

Choose your plan

Scroll to the plan cards — Economy (Pay-Per-Visit), Gold (10-Event Seasonal), Platinum (Seasonal), and Elite (Seasonal + Ice Control). Tap the one that fits your needs. Use the Review Package Info and Review Contract Terms buttons to see exactly what each plan includes before deciding.

4

Pick your snow-clearing trigger

For Economy and Gold plans, choose 2", 4", or 6" — the snow depth at which we automatically start clearing your property.

5

Confirm your phone number

We need a phone number on file to reach you about your service. Update it right on the quote page if it's changed.

6

Accept the price

Check the box to accept the quoted total (HST included) and agree to the seasonal service terms.

7

Sign electronically

Type or draw your signature in the signature box — this is your legally binding acceptance of the agreement.

8

Choose your payment option

Pay in full by credit card (a small processing surcharge applies), pay in full by bank transfer (you'll be redirected to complete the e-transfer), or choose Invoice to be billed later — we'll email you an invoice with a secure payment link. Invoice customers can be set up on a full, bi-weekly, monthly, or 3-payment schedule.

9

Click Accept & Continue

If you paid by card, your payment is processed and a receipt is emailed immediately. If you chose invoice or bank transfer, an invoice is emailed to you with payment instructions. You'll see a confirmation screen and your contract is activated — from there, track everything (visits, invoices, service history) in your Customer Portal.

Once accepted, your service is scheduled and you can track visits, invoices, and service history from your Customer Portal.

How to Use Your Customer Portal

The Customer Portal is your personal dashboard for everything related to your snow removal account — quotes, contracts, invoices, service history, and more.

Signing in

Sign in with your email and password, or create an account from the same screen. If you signed up but we haven't linked your account to a customer profile yet, you'll see a simple screen to claim your existing profile (by verifying your phone number) or create a new one.

Your dashboard at a glance

Once signed in, you'll see a summary of your account: your recent quotes (each clickable to review the full details), your active contracts, your invoices (paid and outstanding, each with a Pay Now button when a balance is due), and anything still waiting to be paid.

Requesting instant or on-call service

If you're on an On-Call plan or pay-as-you-go, you'll see a highlighted box near the top to Request Service when you need us during a snow event. Tap it and our team is notified immediately — a driver will be dispatched. On-Call charges simply accumulate on your monthly invoice.

Your contracts

Under Contracts, tap any agreement to view or sign it. If you're on a Gold plan, you may see an option to request an upgrade to Platinum right from there.

Invoices and payments

Tap any invoice to view it. If a balance is owing, you'll see a Pay Now button to pay securely online by card or bank transfer.

Quick actions

The Quick Actions panel lets you request additional service or a salt bin rental, update your contact info / access instructions / pet info, submit a concern or access update, or request a plan upgrade.

Service history

At the bottom of the portal you'll see a full history of every service visit we've completed at your property, grouped by snow event — including the date, snow depth, and what was done.

There's also a Leave us a Review button at the top of your portal — we'd love to hear how we did.

Packages & Pricing

Four plans built around how often you need us. Every quote is priced to your exact property size — no guesswork.

Economy (Pay-Per-Visit)

Pay only when we clear. Choose On-Demand (we come automatically once your trigger depth is reached) or On-Call (you request service when you need it, billed at a premium rate). Best for light users or occasional storms.

Gold (10-Event Seasonal)

A set seasonal price covering up to 10 snowfall events. Great value for a typical winter — once you hit 10 events, any extra visits are billed at a per-visit rate.

Platinum (Seasonal)

Unlimited seasonal plowing with no event cap. Set your trigger depth and we handle every qualifying storm from November through April.

Elite (Seasonal + Ice Control)

Everything in Platinum, plus ice control (salting) on your driveway and walkways, and a complimentary salt bin delivered to your property for the season.

The snow-clearing trigger: For Economy and Gold plans you choose 2", 4", or 6" — the snow depth at which we automatically start clearing. A lower trigger means more frequent service; a higher trigger means we wait for bigger storms.

Billing & Payments

How invoices, payment methods, and seasonal limits work — so there are no surprises.

How you're billed

When you sign up you can pay in full, or request an invoice to be billed later. Invoiced customers may be set up on a full, bi-weekly, monthly, or 3-payment schedule depending on your agreement.

Accepted payment methods

Credit card, bank transfer (e-transfer), or cash/cheque. A small surcharge applies to credit card payments to cover processing fees — bank transfer and cash/cheque have no surcharge.

After your seasonal limit

If you're on a Gold or seasonal plan and you reach your included event or snowfall limit, any additional visits are billed at your plan's per-visit rate. You'll always know before extra charges apply.

Viewing & paying invoices

Every invoice shows in your Customer Portal with a Pay Now button when a balance is due. You'll also get an email with a secure link to view and pay online.

What to Expect During a Storm

Here's how we decide when to come, what a snow event means, and roughly when you'll see us.

When we come

We come once our snow fall reaches 2" of snow and the snowfall has stopped for atleast 2 hours. For continous snowstorms we will dispatch our team once 5" of snow has been reached.

Snow events & passes

Each storm is tracked as a "snow event." If it snows again before we finish, we may run a second pass — you'll see each pass in your service history.

Service-update emails

During active storms we send brief email updates so you know when crews are out, what's being done, and roughly when to expect us at your property.

Timing

Most routes are completed within a few hours of the snow stopping, though large or back-to-back storms can take longer. Priority and emergency routes are cleared first.

Preparing Your Property

A few minutes of prep before a storm helps us clear safely and completely — and avoids damage to your property.

  • Move vehicles out of the driveway and service area before the snow starts.
  • Unlock gates and ensure clear access to all areas we service.
  • Mark hidden obstacles — sprinkler heads, rocks, drains, landscape edging — with flags or stakes.
  • Keep pets inside and let us know about any animals on the property.
  • Remove bins, hoses, sports equipment, and other items from the service area.
  • Note any steep grades or icy patches in your access notes so we come prepared.

Salt Bins & Ice Control

Rent a salt bin for the season, request refills, or use your complimentary Elite bin — all managed from the portal.

Renting a salt bin

Request a salt bin rental from the portal's Quick Actions. Choose your bin size, fill level (quarter, half, or full), quantity, and delivery address, and we'll drop it off and place it where you need it.

Refills

When your bin runs low, flag it from the portal or ask our crew on site. We'll schedule a refill at your chosen fill level and top it back up.

Complimentary Elite bin

Elite plan customers receive a complimentary salt bin for the season — no rental charge. It's provisioned automatically when your Elite contract activates.

Flagging "bin low"

If you notice your bin is running low, use the Quick Actions panel or tell our operator on site. We'll create a refill request and get you topped up before the next storm.

Quick FAQ

Short answers to the questions we hear most. For the full list, visit our FAQ page.

What areas do you service?

Lisle, Everett, Glencairn and surrounding communities in Adjala-Tosorontio and the broader South Simcoe region. Properties just outside our standard zone may incur a small travel fee.

When does the season run?

Our standard snow season runs from November 1 through April 1. Contracts are priced for this full period.

Do I have to be home when you plow?

No. As long as we have access (gates unlocked, vehicles moved), we service whether you're home or not. Just make sure your access notes are up to date in the portal.

What if I'm not happy with a service?

Let us know through the portal's Quick Actions (submit a concern) or call us. We'll review the visit and make it right — your satisfaction matters.

Can I change my plan after signing?

Yes — Gold customers can request an upgrade to Platinum from the portal, and any customer can request additional services or a salt bin rental through Quick Actions. A $30 administrative fee (plus HST) applies to any contract change, upgrade, or modification made after signing, in addition to any difference in service pricing.

How do I get a quote without measuring?

You don't have to — our instant quote tool measures your property on a satellite map automatically. Just draw your areas and we calculate the square footage for you.

Need Help?

We're happy to walk you through any part of the process.
